Train Them 2 Fish organized short term mission trips for two weeks in the beginning. During the two weeks, they may have a medical program in the morning and preaching in the evening.
Such a mission trip was organized in Bukavu city in June 2013. There were ten sites of evangelism 187 people were baptized as a result of that effort. One of the sites was at Bugira, a rural area of the city. A small congregation was established at that place with one Bible worker to keep the flame burning.
In July 2014 another evangelistic campaign was organized at Bagira for two more weeks. 27 new souls accepted Jesus as their Savior and were baptized.
Someone donated $ 10,000 USD to purchase a piece of land at Bagira. The money was used for the land and an amount was saved and served to build a temporary sanctuary for the new believer at Bagira.
There is a need to improve that humble house so that God’s children at Bagira may worship their heavenly Father in a nice place.
