Acts 6:7 reports that in the first century of the Christian church “The word of God was reaching more and more people. The group of followers in Jerusalem became larger and larger. Even a big group of Jewish priests believed and obeyed.”
In July of 2012, Train Them 2 Fish started its activities in the Bukavu, a city of 1.2 Million people in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo. There were only 390 SDA believers in the city by that time. Train Them 2 Fish Started to sponsor 10 Bible Workers in the city and organized a two week medical evangelism mission trip in 2013. Some humanitarian Activities are also organized in that part of the world. By God’s grace, the membership in Bukavu city has grown from 390 to 1,340 by December 2014.

Five Pastors from other denominations accepted to join the church by baptism. One of them, Pastor Leonard, a former trained Pentecostal Bishop accepted to join the Bible worker’s training program of Train Them 2 Fish. Leonard is now serving as a Train Them 2 Fish sponsored Bible Worker at Kadutu in the DR of Congo. He is taking care of a small congregation of 35 believers. He is also a talented musician, training the choir of the Kadutu congregation.

Train Them 2 Fish needs your prayers and support for the School of Evangelism project to reach out to the People of DR Congo as well as other French Speaking Countries in the Central Africa Region.
